Introduction of the International Napoleonic Safety Meeting (INSM)

General information
For years now people all over the world have been re-enacting the lives and battles of the soldiers of the French Revolution and the Napoleonic times. Each group driven by the passion of its members has had to research abundant information to recreate the uniforms and manoeuvres as closely as possible.

On February 22nd and 23rd a group of people from Great Britain, The Netherlands, France, Italy and Germany concerned with the potential safety issues, met in the Netherlands. Our aim was to try and propose a common set of recommendations that re-enactors could read and talk about, so we can all show our passion in a safer harmonious atmosphere.

Every Napoleonic Association in the world is invited to join the INSM. Please take a look on this page for all the members.
